The library's Foundation began in 1983 with a generous donation by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grim in memory of Mrs. Grim's parents. With other donations, the Alvin G. and Lydia Todd Brown Symposium became a reality. The funds provided by the Foundation have brought such noted authors as Erskine Caldwell, Stuart Woods, Margaret Anne Barnes, Tina McElroy Ansa and Amy Blackmarr to the Fitzgerald community. Other Foundation projects have included annual support of the children's Vacation Reading Club programs. 

How to contribute - Donations can be to FBHCL but "must" be payable to F-BHCLibrary Foundation.
