National Teen Read Week

"Picture It "

October 16, 2011 through October 22, 2011

Page Master Read-A-Thon
Last Year Fitzgerald teens read over 6,000 pages during the Page Master Read-A-Thon, with top reader Zachary Ewing leading the way. This year our goal is 50 books or 7,000 pages. Anyone, between the ages of 11 and 19, who wants to be part of meeting that goal can pick up a reading log starting October 14 and turn them in any time before October 24.

Poster Contest

Teens are invited to make and submit a poster depicting their favorite book title. Posters need to be in by October 17 in order to display them during Teen Read week on the Teen Spot wall. Winners will be announced on October 24. Posters need to be appropriate for all ages to view and final say is left up to library staff.

Teen Week programs are open to all young people between the ages of 11 and 19. All programs are free.
